Front Fend Help
Hey guys, I just picked up my first 1955 F100. The truck belonged to my brother who received 2 trucks when he got his 55, one being kinda like a parts truck. anyway, I decided to keep it. It was nicer then the driver he was keeping =). Well, before I decided to go ahead and take on the build we were going to start selling parts, a guy came to look at one of the hoods and he said, weird... I have never seen the big front fenders on a f100 before. Im thinking hes talking about the f2, f3's front fenders. But I have looked at alot of f100s and I dont see what he is talking about. Do any of you guys know what the difference is between the two? I am wondering what the wheels gap is for the stock f100s and the next size up. There was a thread about the larger fenders, pictures included a few weeks back.The bigger trucks had bigger fenders. Cabs were the same so it would be possible to install front sheetmetal on an F-1
