There's loads of space & adequate ventilation under the 2nd row 60/40 bench seat. Under my 2nd row I have (from driver's side to passenger side):
- large commercial business band radio body (under 60 of 60/40 seat split)
- 5 channel amp (class D, so it's small) (also under 60 of 60/40 seat split)
- a primary power distribution block: single 150A wiring run to dual 80A wiring runs for amp & secondary power distribution block (also under 60 of 60/40 seat split, just rearward of amp)
- ham radio radio body (between 60 & 40 of 60/40 seat split)
- 400W continuous inverter (under 40 of 60/40 seat split, I can just reach the power switch for the inverter by reaching back diagonally from the driver's seat to under bench seat)
- a secondary power distribution block: single 80A wiring run split 4 ways (also under 40 of 60/40 seat split, just rearward of inverter) for both business band & ham radios & inverter using Andersen Powerpole connectors
- correct gauge wiring & fusing for each leg, so unmeasurable voltage drop at any point, and a blown fuse in any secondary wiring leg, shouldn't incapacitate any of the other secondary wiring legs.

*** The 2nd power distribution block using Andersen Powerpole connectors is really useful, since I can completely disconnect power from either of the radios or the inverter in seconds, and I also have a spare deep cycle battery I can use with 6 gauge 75A wiring to power the second power distribution block instead of the run from the primary power distribution block, so that I can power everything except the 5-channel amp for my stereo off my spare deep cycle battery, when I'm working communications at rally races, without draining the 2 primary vehicle batteries (my X is a diesel, so has 2 primary vehicle batteries). Later I plan to purchase an ambulance battery box to mount my 3rd deep cycle battery on the frame rail & a heavy duty marine switch to connect it to the 2 main vehicle batteries for charging when the engine is running, and allowing me to disconnect the 3rd battery when the engine is not running, so I can work comms at races or use the inverter for extended periods without worrying about running the 2 primary vehicle batteries flat.
