FITTED WITH FORD POWER STEERING BOX.
IM TRYING FIND OUT WHAT MODEL FORD THE STEERING BOX IS FROM AS THE PITMAN ARM IS WORN AND NEEDS REPLACING.
THE NUMBERS ON THE STEERING BOX ARE...
1)C8AR-3580-A
2)D9AL-AA
3)3A587A

C = 1960's
8 = 8th year, thus 1968
A = product line, in this case full size cars--Galaxie
R = engineering dept, "Transmission and Chassis" as it is sometimes called.

1979, full size, and "L" appears to be service parts.
So what parts do these numbers appear on?
3A587A--I do not have that decoder ring.
