Hey partner I'm in Traveler's Rest, and take care of the Suntrust Bank in Gaff. Let me know if you need any help w\ the rebuild. I'm sure dennis carp. can help w\ the box info.
That's kind of ironic because I live in Gaffney and work for a company in Greenville. I'll remember to lay on the horn a bit next time I pass the Suntrust Bank.
The 65 66 F350 heater is a hodgepodge of early and late parts. It is the same as a four wheel drive using the early cab. You need to use the 61 to 64 glove box liner. Drivers side will have the pull vent and passenger will have the round fresh air intake above the triangular cowl vent for the cab.
I remember putting in the glove box liner for my 66 I remember using the box that seemed to have cleft for the heater as mentioned in previous posts. I got lucky and got mine out of a pick'n'pull where i live in great shape.
Use the 65-66. Should be the same as my 65 4x4. Its the glove box with the step back to clear the heater. 66 cab should have the same heater as the 65. Best bet is to post up a pic of exactly what you have for a heater. Or see if NumberDummy will come to your rescue. If your heater box looks like this you will need the glove box with the step back.
Thanks Bill...it is not on the CD...theres other books that do have it as Bill mentioned..To pull the glovebox liner the heater needs to be pulled though...at least that applies to the C5TZ liner...I just pulled one a couple days ago at a local wrecking yard...
