floor boards ??
im not sure if im posting this in the right section...
today i was under my truck its a 1979 f150 and i noticed that allmost all of my floorboards are rusted out
The most part of the rust is down where the seats bolt down and where you put your feet but i can buy a patch for that. My main concern is where the rust holes are by were my seats bolt and around the edges of the floor boards. there a few holes now not that big
does anybody have and suggestions of what i can do or how do to do it any hints would be Greatly apperciated

I had this same problem with my 78. Mine was so bad that the built-in beam where the body mounts are was completely gone. The cab had actually dropped down onto the frame.
I ended up cutting the back 12" of the floor out and welding in a new steel channel. Then I cut and welded in some thick stainless steel for the new floor.
