Exclamation pulling the turbo

So I got my Edge tuner today. Quick install and I get to play with this thing, right?

Well only if you don't break the drill bit off inside the exhaust manifold, which I did. Soooooooo.......

Any advice on what parts I will need to put this thing back together?
I am pulling the turbo to go fishing in the exhaust pipe. I am seriously considering whether or not this is the time to do the EGR delete and anything else in there.

I will need to get a parts order in pretty quick somewhere so I can get it overnighted out here to BFE. I do not want to be down all weekend, for sure. Thanks in advance for any input!

If you broke off a drill bit in the exhaust manifold, all you need to do is pull the exhaust manifold. No other gaskets or parts are required and no reason to pull the turbo. You can even loosen the y-pipe at the back of the turbo and at each manifold and egr cooler and move it out of the way however that's just a big PIA.

And have the manifold resurfaced before you put it back on IMO.

I thought about that, but I always avoid pulling an exhaust manifold if I can because of the risk of breaking a bolt off in the head. The last thing I need is to have more broken stuff.
So the exhaust manifold has a reusable gasket?

There is no gasket from the factory, but Ford does sell one that you could add when you reinstall.

Hmmmm

Well to be honest I have all but removed the turbo. The only thing left is the three hold-down bolts, but I guess I'll try to break the manifold bolts loose and see how they feel. Thanks for the input, I appeciate it.

See the bottom of post #3 for part number, it is also recommended to replace the bolts due to the heat they see.

Thanks for the input, but long story short, I broke off the first two manifold bolts with very little torque. I went back to my original plan and pulled the turbo. My truck is happy again and i got to take my first road trip last night. Everything looks good so far.
