34's as in bulb 34? Are you saying that without a bulb in the dash socket for the seat belt reminder, you are getting a soft code? You might have a spare socket in the "theft" hole as it was not used, unless you are using it as an anunciator for somekind of antitheft device.

Just deleted my EBPV. Haven't drove it in about a month, today I drove it and a couple miles in my pickup threw P0475, P0603. Seems like it has something to do with the wire for the EBPV not being plugged into anything. Any ideas?
if you tow a lot it worth keeping and modifying to use a exhaust brake.. if you replace the pedestal why not just pull the solined out, plug in the wires and tape or just let it ride in the valley.. no codes..
I use the heck out of min and had the 225K mile rear brake pads to prove it..
Or when you cut the valve out of the exhaust just leave the plunger in unhooked so it does what it does adn no codes.
For those of you who have the turbo pedestal with EBPV delete, I assume that the PCM will throw a code since there is no exhaust back pressure valve there, let alone wired into the system.
If there are code thrown in this example, what can be done to keep any codes from being thrown? I noticed that dfuser has a 7.3 exhaust back pressure valve terminator for sale. Would anyone recommend this or another option?
Thanks,
Drake
I’ve got a question I deleted my ebpv now my truck turns over but no start what could be the cos of this?
