Can anyone help me find a paintable bug shield for my new f150 lariat super crew? I hate the smoked deflectors, I love the color matched ones but can not find anything.

I got my clear "behind the grill" from TSEtruckstuff.com
It's made by Stampede and looks really good. You can paint the back of it to match the truck. After getting it I decided to leave it clear as you can't see it from 10-15 feet away.
Part number is: Stampede VP Series Hood Protector-Clear- 2147-1
$65 with free shipping.
It looks like this but clear:
I haven't taken any pictures of mine since installing it but if I think about it I'll do it tomorrow after work.

I looked on the site and the pic you show in this post is #2147-2 not 2147-1 atleast according to their pics
The reason I said this is they show a totally different design / picture. Probably just the "generic" web pic but I just wanted to make sure.
You have a 2011 FX F150?
I am waiting for my 2012 Lariat. I am new to ford family.....do you know if they have the same hood and grill shape?
yep, the 11 and 12 are the same in terms of the front end.
the pic of the clear on the site is generic hence me posting the smoked one so you could see the design installed. the part number I gave you is exactly like the smoked picture but its clear. I have it on my truck.
There are allot of company's offering it and I've used a couple different ones but IMO the 3M works the best. It still looked like new even after 5 years on my Dodge Ram.
I really like the behind the grill bug shield. I'd be concerned that the clear one will haze over or become yellowed over time. Any thoughts?
I DO like the clear I am curious as well, maybe Santa will get me one. I don't like the smoke and never even thought to look for a clear one. Hmmmm.... Sweet truck too!

I had one on my Ram for 5 years and it looked fine when I traded it. It did have a couple rock marks in it but that's what it's for...
For $65 it's not an expensive replacement even if it did begin to look bad. If you keep them waxed, they generally last for years.
The one on my wife's Expedition has been on there for probably close to 10 years and it is scratched up some but still generally looks good.
