F150 - Bug Deflector

It's made by Stampede and looks really good. You can paint the back of it to match the truck. After getting it I decided to leave it clear as you can't see it from 10-15 feet away.
Part number is: Stampede VP Series Hood Protector-Clear- 2147-1
$65 with free shipping.
It looks like this but clear:
I haven't taken any pictures of mine since installing it but if I think about it I'll do it tomorrow after work.

the smoke is 2147-2.. the clear is 2147-1 same design just clear.

I am waiting for my 2012 Lariat. I am new to ford family.....do you know if they have the same hood and grill shape?

the pic of the clear on the site is generic hence me posting the smoked one so you could see the design installed. the part number I gave you is exactly like the smoked picture but its clear. I have it on my truck.

You remove the grill, and install the deflector and put the grill back on... Took a whole 20 min's
The deflector is VERY rigid once installed. No it covers everything.
I'm getting the clear 3M headlight/Bumper/Paint protection next. It protects the entire front end from rocks and paint chips.

There are allot of company's offering it and I've used a couple different ones but IMO the 3M works the best. It still looked like new even after 5 years on my Dodge Ram.

I am curious as well, maybe Santa will get me one. I don't like the smoke and never even thought to look for a clear one. Hmmmm.... Sweet truck too!

For $65 it's not an expensive replacement even if it did begin to look bad. If you keep them waxed, they generally last for years.
The one on my wife's Expedition has been on there for probably close to 10 years and it is scratched up some but still generally looks good.
