HLCD's oh yeah
OK, although you can see the extensive list of audio gear i already have, i have been going on a binge to test new products and things ive never used. Shortly i will have a set of HLCD's at my door. For the newer guys to audio, HLCD stands for horn loaded compression driver. IE- horns . Horns have been made by only a select few car audio manufacturers. I have been told that they provide a great soundstage in your vehicle as compared to components. We will soon see.
What i suggest is this: If any of us try's a new product or demo's one, give us a heads up as to your opinion. Seeing as how some products are just NOT available near some people except via the "net", its nice to get some input on the latest gear.
i'll let you all know about the horns once they arrive and I get them setup. Ill provide pictures and a good review.
