Lets see your exhaust!!!!

Ok Im starting to think about exhaust systems. Still running the flathead 8. I put the mustang 20 gallon tank in. I like the ones that kinda come out behind the rear fenders. Id love to see some pics. And what mufflers did you use? I have a set of short cherries but I think ill leave it straight for a while so i can raise hell in the school parking lot

Red's Headers, with Red's extensions, running into Smithy's 22" steelpacks, remainder of system done by local Midas. Very smooth sound. With the bumper on the tailpipes aren't so obvious.

Here is mine dumping infront of rear tires... I have a 350, headers, dual flowmaster 40 series, and 2-1/4 pipe...

Moe, what headers did you use, and did you have to modify them to fit? I've been wanting to get some myself, and was planning to try a set from 70's chevy pickup.

2-1/2 tubing run along the driveshaft into two Magnaflow mufflers with a stainless flex joint tying in the exhaust tips through the running boards.

I have nickel plated Red's headers, extensions, smithy's glass packs and balogne cut 1 3/4" pipes under the running boards. The straight headers sounded out of this world! The glass packs are fairly quiet, but are supposed to get louder as the fibre glass deteriorates.
