Brake issues before my trip
#31
WHEEEEWWW BOY!! I got that Bi** I can't believe I got that SOB off! Oh, god is shining his blissful light upon me this evening! Ooohhh praise the lord!
I took a 12" 3/8 extension and beat one collar onto the pulley inner lip. I attached the nut drive and beat on the second collar. Then I tapped the lock ring on and amazingly, after cranking away, I got the pulley off.
Now I just need the Rangers to win!
Up for some late night wrenching? F yeah, I am! After a drink and a smoke, though.

I just installed the pump and took her for a spin. I was pulling no less than 20in Hg and usually 20-25in Hg! My brakes never once got stiff! I might need to bleed them a little more but I'll install the new driver's side caliper and bleed them after that.
Dang I'm so happy. The Rangers even won!
I might be able to tap on the back of the pulley if I heated it up with MAP but I don't have that option. I got it, though. A little brute force helps some times.
