I'm sure it doesn't.... But more importantly it'll promote the life of your injectors!

Ah yes, I've read many white papers on the benefits of cotton and cardboard on injectors. I hear it even gives you an extra 2000lbs of torque and people see 70MPG. But you've gotta be careful if it's a Dodge hat your truck will smoke like it's on fire and the government will have to bail you out.

LMAO.

I need a new hat to add to my collection. Guess it's time for new filters.

Me either. I'd rather just buy the hat outright.......or ask for a free one.

$67 for a hat, and charging $7 to remove the o-ring from the tranny filter box ... it's no wonder Ford didn't need a bailout and the others did.

Technically if they are a "authorized retailer" you can mail it in:

<TABLE cellSpacing=3 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=1><TBODY><TR><TD colSpan=3>Purchase a Motorcraft® Diesel fuel filter between October 1st and November 30th, 2011 from a participating Ford/Lincoln dealership of Motorcraft® retailer and receive by mail your choice of a Ford Power Stroke Diesel hat. See details below.

</TD></TR><TR><TD colSpan=3>Option 1: If you purchased your Motorcraft® Diesel fuel filter at a retailer simply download the rebate form using the link below and mail it in along with a copy of your parts invoice or repair order to receive your hat.

</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right colSpan=3>Mail-In Form

</TD></TR><TR><TD colSpan=3>Option 2: If you purchased your Motorcraft® Diesel fuel filter at a Ford/Lincoln dealership, please complete and submit the online form below to receive your hat. Please note, the online form is for dealership purchases only.
