I built mine from 4x4s and 2x4s (braced so it wouldn't twist). I used large casters from an old outside garbage bin.

Use solid casters. Tried casters with inflatable tires but they wouldn't hold the weight of the cab well and we're hard to roll around. I mounted the cab to the dollie via the cab to frame mounts.

Worked for me. Sorry but no photos.

I can take some but the cab is on the dollie right now.

Hope this helps

Dan

I just bolted 4 car skates to a piece of 5/8 plywood 4x6 so I could roll it on to its back by my self

I just let the cab sit on it without the horses, the horses are for the bed to have it higher

I also made mine from wood. 2x6's mostly. Hard rubber 4" casters. Worked well as I did all the cab body work and paint on the dolly. The cab sits on the front mounts (the 4x4 stanchions) and on the floor in the back.

Mine is sitting on 4 pallets that are on two moving dollies. Cheap and easy.

Keep it simple. A piece of plywood or a few pieces of 2x4 and four casters is all you need. The cab is not that heavy, just bulky. You do not need anything sophisticated.

Agree think about rolling it on its back and getting it back up right use a piece of carpet or pad for scratch prevention
