I have a 1950 F2 that I am attempting to restore. After searching the internet I cannot find new F2 emblems for the truck. Have the old ones but they look kind of rough! Can anyone tell me where to order new ones? Thanks for any help.
Classic haulers don't list them in their parts book but if ya call candie [877-252-1948] she might have some. If not check e-bay or maybe DENNIS CARPENTER.
F2 and up emblems are not reproduced. The emblems were made of two different materials, if I recall correctly, pot metal and stainless. You'll have to scour the internet (ebay, FTE, Ford Barn, HAMB, etc) and post wanted ads. If your's are stainless, you can have them repaired (dings and bends removed). If they're pot metal and are pitted, you can also have them repaired and chromed. However, this process is not cheap.
Thanks for all the response folks! Its great finding a site with so much knowledge on the old (and new) trucks. Have been looking at this site for some time but was the first time I needed info I could not find with a search
on the internet. Again thanks.
I had my F-3 emblems rechromed about 5 years ago and it cost me about $100 plus shipping...
I have the same problem as betjordan. I have the originals but they are pitted. Where did you have yours done? Anybody have any recommendations on someone who does quality work?
I have a set of F2 emblems that I'm not plannig to use. They've been stored on a shelf for over 12 years...so I have no what condition they're in. I'll dig them out over the weekend to take a look.

Thanks Dan . . . if you can please send me some pictures so that I can see if they are better than what I have on the truck.
