Hi every one, I've got a problem with my lights, the headlights have already been wired to another switch as the original didn't work properly, will order a replacement soon. when I attempt to put the side lights on they and the tail lights flicker & there is a clicking noise from what I guess is the relay, can anyone help? where is the relay, sounds like passenger side behind the dash, still looking for a 1972 manual but can't get them in UK, which is the best manual? thanks :-)
You'll find that relay on the right side of the cab right under the "A" pillar. The relay is mounted with the terminals facing up so If you have a water leak, it soaks the connector. Ask me how I know haha

ok found the relay, does look a bit rough, there's a long number across the back C8TB-13A435-A guess this is the part number, original ford part, wouldn't surprise me if the original '72 part just need to find somewhere here that's got 1 . how do I find out which other cars/trucks have this relay?
Google that parts number or look up numbersdummy here on FTE. Sounds like you have a camper special? That 3 wire relay is either a horn relay or a relay for the roof and side lights (only used on camper specials). Mine was just clicking like crazy. Sounded like an old telegraph machine
Whoops, also found on the Ranger haha
