so my f700 6.6 diesel starts fine but when you return the key to the run position it shuts off and gets no power. the low air buzzer comes on in the cranking position but dosent make a sound in the run position witch is not normal. that's how i know its not getting power in the run position. any one have any idea what might be wrong? that's guys

You have done much of the work by being observant. Of course you probibly know you need to look into the switch its self first.
you do know how to use a multi(volt,ohm)-meter, don't you??
without one electrical work is a guessing game.

i sat out there with a test light and a volt meter for an hour with out finding anything out of the ordinary, i thought it was the switch also so i took it appart again. one thing i forgot to mention was we had just done a total cab swap so alot could have went wrong. turns out it was two stupid things, a spring was missing out of the switch (idk if that was a prob or not it dose push the copper piese in the little black box in the collom up to make a good connection) and when double checking all the connections i found a wire that had deteriorated apart, replaced the section of wire and she ran like a champ! after two hours playing with the test light and volt meter haha its always the little things you never think of
