I have a 302 with a 4 barrel carb. No emissions are left in this thing its just an engine and a carb with an electronic ignition system so no vacuum advance on the distributor. I plugged the vacuum ports on the carb. The only connection I have to the carb is pcv valve, fuel line, and brake booster.
Where is the best place to run my vacuum line from my auto transmission? Should I run it in to the intake manifold or splice it in with the brake booster connection? Or should I plug both in to the manifold and plug the brake port on the carb? Any advise?
I ran mine to the tee on the back of the manifold on my 351 and it works fine, but then again I have all my emissions stuff still on. Runs too good to take it off.
It doesn't make a difference, the brake booster line and the intake both provide full manifold vacuum. I have mine on one of the ports at the back of the intake.
