Brake Booster Vacuum

Is there more vacuum off of the manifold or out of the back of the carb? This is the vacuum for the brake booster. The intake is a edelbrock performer and the carb is a carter 650 and they both have ports for brake booster vacuum.

It's the same signal. To answer your question though, the intake manifold port is of course physically closer to the vacuum source than the carburetor port. But you can use either one.
