Hi all,Im new to the site and this is my first post, just like to introduce myself,my names Dave and I am restoring/roding/will be racing a 41 pickup I bought back in january.
Lots to do on her, have stripped her down to nut n bolts, had her blasted and now in the process of getting her back together so will be calling on you for some help no doubt in the future. The sites helped me with some info on parts etc allready which is great
regards
Dave
Will be drag racing the pu,at the moment I have boxed the chassis, put a mustang II front clip and 9" locker on the rear, both complete with wiliwood disc's,ladder bars etc.
Have fitted a moded 289 with toploader and a vertigate shifter, but there's still a hell of a lot to be done to the cab, doors n fenders, allthough the front fenders arn't to bad. Will probably contact JT's to see if they can sort out some doors n fenders for me then find out a cost to import them.
At the moment im making up some headers and will be exiting em out of the rear of the front fenders.
Wont be swapping the sender just yet as haven't had a problem in the past with electric although using direct on my mustang, hoping for 12s at the local strip if I'm lucky but time will tell.
How plentiful are rear fenders for the 41 and what type of price would I have to pay for a pair.
Dave
