57 f600 rear brake drum

I'm missing a rear brake drum off a 57 f600 I just got, it has a two speed rear in it. Does anyone know where I can find one or what other year drums will fit.

Thanks

Did you see if there's a build tag on the rear of the axle? Probably an eaton if its a 2 speed. Places like Truck-Pro will want that info if they can even come close. Where you from? I've got a complete rockwell rear that will fit an f600, but its only a single speed. It also has 700 original miles on it. I was going to put it in my f350, but it more work than I want to deal with.

i think there might be more than 1 size , width , diameter ! if you can pull the other side off then you will have some thing to measure , and get a duplicate !

Are there any numbers on the drum?

Eaton id info:

There are several sized of brakes.

Post your VIN and all info off the data plate from the glove box or door jamb.

What size are the rear brakes? There are three possibles: 15" x 4" or 15" x 4.5" or 15" x 5.00."

What rear axle this F600 has (Eaton, Timken, Rockwell, whatever), makes absolutely no difference inre to brake drums.

The drums could be the same 1957/62, or 1957/64, or maybe later, cannot tell for sure until the size is known.

There will be a stamped ID number on the other drum, if you post it, I can ID the brake size, get the Ford part number from it.

The VIN and/or codes off the Rating/Warranty Plate contain no brake info.

These brake drum pics do not show what size the brake shoes are, I cannot read any stamped ID number on the drum.

If there's no number, you're going to have to remove the drum, because there is no other way to determine the size of the shoes.

I'm going to try to get down to the truck this week to look for the number on the drum, I had these pics already and figured it wouldn't hurt to post them.

Thanks

I'm not going to have time to pull the drum to get a number this week, but I did measure the brake shoe on the other side and it is 4" wide.

Do you also need the hub? It does not come with the drum.

B6Q-1126-C .. Rear Brake Drum-Use with 15" x 4.00" & 15" x 4.50" brake shoes / Obsolete

Applications: 1956 B700/750 with Tandem Axles (T/A) / 1957/62 F500/600 without T/A.

JST AUTOMOTIVE in Lebanon TN has TWO = 615-443-3086.
---------------------------------------------------------
B6Q-1109-B .. Rear Hub-Same applications as the drum / Obsolete

I was unable to locate any on the two online parts locator sites, try Job Lot (joblotauto.com) in Queens NY (not on the locators).
