Texas just had the hottest summer on record, and my black interior wasn't any hotter this year than my tan interior was in '09, the second hottest summer on record. Maybe tinting the fronts helped with that? Anyway, I was leary of getting black for fear of the heat, and was pleasantly surprised that it was a complete non-issue.
I wish I could have found a KR with a black interior when I was shopping, if for no other reason than just to see what it looked like. I've really fallen in love with my blue, gray, and black truck though.

Still lovin' mine with 40,000 km, F350 KR in Bronze, moonroof, nav, autostart, CC shortbox, rino lining, with fifth wheel pull-rite slider under bed hitch mount and torklift camper tie downs.

One of the options I didn't get, due to "picking from the leftovers", that I would of liked was heated seats. But I told myself that's what the black seats were for.
The truck did come with the extra electric strip heater, so I should be OK.

Red?Just joking. Its a good color too - one of my options when I started looking also. Red, Blue, Bronze, they're all great colors!
Heres the inside.
I did NOT want the dark interior. My 2010 F250 had the tan interior and I loved it - tan seats and all. I don't care for the darker colors. The brown/red KR leather is cool though. If I remember right they had brown and red options in 2008-2010, or it was dependent on the year maybe. I always preferred the brown over the red. I also preferred the copper color over everything else.
Starting back several years ago I used to haul cars for a living, 2005 F350 DRW with a 2 car goose neck trailer. Thats what got me on diesels. From that point on I wanted a crew cab short bed super duty, KR, copper/pueblo gold. Well, I found a nice deal on a F250 lariat with nav (metallic green/pueblo gold) and absolutely loved it. Then I lost that one in a roll-over accident. I took a long pause between getting a super duty, but I went to the end of my string and then some to find one I wanted. I couldn't get the "copper" color any more, so the golden bronze metallic was the closest I could get. I also ended up with a long bed instead of a short bed, but I counter that with the fact I have a bigger fuel tank (that's come in handy more than a few times). I ended up with my king ranch, just a bit off from what I really wanted. At least the color is as good as I can get and everything else that isn't what I want I can change (except for the bed length, but I'm cool with the bigger tank!).
The picture, by the way, is from bright and early in the morning on my second day driving home. I found this one 1300 miles away, jumped on a plane, flew out to get it, and drove home. Good picture with the lighting though, I haven't taken one since that brings out the color like this does.
What is that in your cupholder? Is that a CB radio or something? Very nice and compact, would like to know the brand model #?
