Installed my SG 2 today and love it. Truck, 04, 130000 miles, bought it a couple weeks ago, so I needed to know more about how it was operating. Delta between EOT and ECT never got above 8 degrees. The puzzling part, FMP when it started was 30.0, and it never got above 46.5 in the hour I drove it. Is it possible that I'm getting a bad reading?
I've often heard people suggest verifying the reading on the SG on the FICM itself. Has there been any known instances where the SG was inaccurate? If it was, is there any way to calibrate it, or does it need to be returned?
Its probuably right i just replaced my FICM , koeo i had 47.5 start it up idling 34-36 start down the road 41 or so . Once it got hot 44-46 , got rebuild one 47.5 to 48 all the time. My truck was running like sh-t but also had injector out .

theres been a couple bad units but not to many
its always good to verify after a cold soak stuff like temps ECT,EOT,TFT should read the same
and at KOEO verify MAP,EBP,BARO should read the same
