for parts in a local yard...if anyones in need of stuff, holler...base model truck, 6 cyl/4 speed

Thanks cs65,

Do you or anyone reading have an opinion for me on whether the 4 speed in that truck would be a worthwhile upgrade from the 3 speed I have on my 1960 with 223?

it depends IMO, on how you use your truck...If you climb hills or pull heavy loads...even moderately heavy loads I would go with the 4 speed...granny low is a nice thing...I wish my Ranger had one...
