I have a 2001 ford Excursion 7.3 limited. My prob is the light works, turn signals work and flashers work but when the flashers are on while im driving and hit the brakes the hazzards still flash. I thought for saftey reasons that the brake lights will override the flashers.Anyone might have a clue what it could be. thanks for looking.

You may still hear the flashers and see the indicators on the dash but have you looked to see if the brake lights come on?
Yes i have and they still flash. I found someone with an excursion at a gas station and i ask him and he didnt know so i got him to push the brakes and it did the same thing. so im thinking now it is suppose to do that. Just seems a little diffrent then what i would have thought. Also my right signal on the travel trailer blows the fuse as soon as i hit the signal so after i find and fix the problem i wonder if the brake lights will come on with the hazzards on or will it still flash like the truck. time will tell. lol
