Fuel tank issue?

Fuel tank issue?
Was on the way back from fishing driving about 25mph In the neighborhood and truck just shut off/ stoped running and I coasted to side of road. Tried to start would easily crank and had voltage but would not run. Switched to the rear tank and fired right up drove another 20 miles no problem. Thoughts on what the issue is? Thanks. Mike
