I changed out my thermostat to do and while I had the tools out and some time on my hands. I went ahead and checked the fuel pressure regulator for air bubbles and i don't know if this is normal? What I found with upper filter out. KOEO while fuel was pumping in the fuel was full of air bubbles " looked like a drink that had been shook up" when that all settled out I got some air bubbles out of the largest metal line back into the regulator. I wish I could post a picture! What could be causing the air bubbles coming from the pump? Or is this normal? I am guessing the the last air bubbles are from a injector o-ring? And lastly could this be my bucking and jerking problem I've been having? The fuel pressure is 64 psi
You're injectors would be suspect if you were cranking while bubbles were present. At KOEO that would be fuel pump related. Possibly a cross threaded fuel filter lid on the HFCM.
Cheezit sorry but I don't understand. hook a clear line in to the test port? I am also hearing a slight sucking noise at the upper fuel pressure regulator. Cap isn't cracked I just replaced it and o-ring looks good
