So, I guess this is a partial intro, but I also wanted to show off some photos I did for a friend. He has a (06?) F250 and I do photography, so we went out and got some photos.
I have always been in love with F250s, and just signed the check for a 2011 Gray F250 Crew short bed, it should be here Thursday
Anyways, here are some photos of his, pics of mine soon to come
Those are some really good looking pictures. Especially that last burnout pic. Your friend has a nice truck. Hope your happy when you recieve your F-250.
Thanks all. That was the best burn out picture. I got a bunch, but the drivers side wasnt spinning. This was the best shot that looked like both were spinning.
You're a pretty good photographer, but why did you include this throw away shot?
It's never a good idea to frame an automotive shot with trees, stumps, telephone poles, etc. "growing" out of your subject. (The two trees in the bed.)
Shooting vehicles, especially dark colors, in indirect light is a requirement often missed by amateurs, and the composition of the other shots is great. This one photo is a miss especially since you had control over placing it wherever you wanted.

(Sorry.)
Welcome and nice work and beautiful truck. I apologize for others on here greeting you that way. It should of been kept to a PM. Anyhow, keep up the good work and you sure take better pictures then I ever could.

I should have communicated my criticism in a PM? Really? Heaven forbid somebody writes something other than, "Wow! Super cool magazine quality pics!" They are not. They are pretty good.
Your "apology" is symptomatic of what's gone wrong in America. You can't critique anyone without being branded anything from insensitive to racist. You can't give little Johnny a "C" in math because it could damage his little ego.
If you post on a public forum and expect nothing but praise 100% of the time, you obviously attended public school and were graded Pass/Fail so your "D" average didn't hurt as much as it should.
For the record, I acknowledged the OP was a pretty good photographer with the exception of one brain-fart. I guess that makes me an insensitive racist.
I can see XB's point. If you're gonna post up pics on the interwebs you should be able to take the criticism along with the praise. Then again, if you're gonna be so quick to criticize, you better have something better or there's no need to spout off.
If you really want a test of how good you at photography, post over on POTN and see what happens. They will tell you like it is. Thin skinners need not attempt.
The OP's are good shots. Better then most people could do for sure, me included most of the time, but I'd like to think I did OK with this one. (If you can get past the cornfield growing out of the bed).
