Engine Speed Sensor

So I pulled the Tach, sending unit and wire up to the little plug on the passenger side of the engine bay, but that is all i could get out before the 86 had to go....now how do i go about wiring the rest of it to go into my factory harness that the 84 has, i pulled out the old part where the tach is supposed to go and threw the tach itself into the dash and put it back in, naturally i still have to convert my IP gear cover to the 86's. (now to remove that without screwing up the IP timing is another question lol) Can you gurus with the custom tach installed tell me what i need to do?

Does this help Aune?

I'm guessing they're calling the tach the speed sensor. This is for an 86....

When you got the tach did you also get the full membrane for the back of the instrument cluster that connects to the tach?

Remove the pump. when you replace the cover be sure not to turn the motor.

i didnt get the section that goes to the cluster, i was going to just take that from my brother's 86 bronco if they are the same. if not i was just going to wire it in.
