you maybe right ON Year
I just figured he had an 03 due to his screentitle
do you have any gauges
you need to see what your running for ICP can also be done with a DVM

I had to think of something quick cause my phone was dying, its my screen title from svt performance for my 03 turbo cobra. Any ideas on where to find those parameters I need I have xcal 2 with live link 6.3
Does the xcal 2 have ficm sync, icp sync, ficm-m-pwr? If not what might be something I can use, truck is still dead and everybody just keeps saying "probably just need to keep cranking"I did for 3 days, doesn't work. This thread is several days old so please read previous post before saying just keep cranking
Did you check your FICM power using the procedure in the tech folder (you just need a voltmeter and someone to turn the key)? Did you check your FICM connections? Did you check your IPR valve screen?
I don't know anything about your scanner, can't help you there...
Never disconnected the ficm connections so I'm good there. The ficm ground is connected and the ipr valve screen is clean. I got 48 volts steady from the ficm while cranking. all fuse are good, not sure about the relays as I would need to apply the correct operating voltage ( probably 12) to see if they switch.
does anybody know how to moniter parameters with a xcal 2 or which ones i should moniter to get my truck atleast started? my trucks been down for over 3 weeks. what scan tool does everybody else use to get icp pressure, ficm sync.....this thread has got me nothing better than a popped hood with no answers
Thats the problem I dont know to many guys that use X-Cal 2 in fact you the only one and I cant understand its readings that you posted
I use Scan Gauge II and a bunch of folks on here do too its a GREAT Gauge for 160.00 It will get ICP,IPR,CAM/crank sync, ficm sync, ficm volts, eot, ect, map, ebp, egr, baro and a ton more
check it out www.scangauge.com
and then if you need to do testing of stuff lets say injectors or vgt then everybodys using an Auto Enginuty its like 370.00 with the ford bundle from riff raff diesel talk to Clay
AE will do everything SG does plus cylinder balance test and other tests it has the ability to control things to test
AE is the way to go if you can swing it
maybe you did but make shure FICM conectors fulley plugged in one may have got bumped during turbo install
I just think it has to be related to the work
Checked all fuses good but not the fan clucth never thought of that one,I had a friend check it with a genesis scan tool thing cost like 5k damn! But he said ficm sync and voltage are good icp is good plenty of oil pressure and crank and camshaft sensor sync.....but the scan tool did say 6 out of 8 cylinders are not firing,it also tells possible causes: remove aftermarket tune, ficm needs calibration and thered was a couple more but I can't remeber is it possible the ficm lost calibration when I disconnected the batteries, they should hold memory??
Disconnecting the batteries won't affect FICM programming.
When you see a bunch of injector codes like that the FICM is suspect. Passing the voltage test doesn't necessarily mean that there's nothing wrong with it.
