trans question
I have a 96 f150 with the 300 and 5 speed manaul.Thinking of coverting to automatic using trans from 85 bronco with a 351.Will the auto bolt up to the 300?

No, you can't use the flexplate for the 351W, as it is balanced differently. A new flexplate for a 300-6 runs about $55, so you really can't go wrong.
As a side note, here we go again: The 351W was the ONLY 351/5.8l that could be had from 82-up. The 351M was from 77-82 in trucks, and the 351C never made it to a truck other than the Ranchero, aside from ones being swapped in.
