I'm sure that Kapex is an awesome saw (I've had good experiences with the couple Festool products I've used extensively--a couple sanders), but I absolutely deplore vertical handles like that on a miter saw. Makes my wrist hurt just looking at it. It puts your hand in a very unnatural and non-ergonomic position. FAIL.
I have the older Dewalt 12" slider (DW708), and it's as accurate as I want to make it--technique has a LOT to do with accuracy on these saws, particularly sliders and those with large blades where deflection is a concern.

I prefer the vertical handle on my Makita. I went to Lowe's and looked at several with horizontal handles...they just didn't seem ergonomically comfortable (to me).
