mine is just a turn ****, cant pull that i know of lol. any help from the guys with 99's-04's?
You might be able to pull that switch out. In the 10+ years I had my 2000, I never knew it was possible and read about it somewhere here on FTE and voila, the darn thing pulled out.
If that doesn't work, you have 3 options:
* Wire up a separate switch to control the fogs
* If you wanted them on with the parking lights, run a relay wire off the parking lights to turn them on when the parking lights are on.
* If you wanted them on with the headlights, run a relay wire off the headlights to turn them on when the headlights are on.
I had 4 8" KC lights that I relayed off my parking lamps. That way they'd only come on when the parking lamps were on. I also wanted the "lights on" chime when I turned the truck off since those lights would kill a battery in a matter of no time.
EDIT- Just saw MD's post, probably the thread I read back in '04!!

I think 99-04 used the same switch as 05-07. Turn right to first click for parking lights, second click for headlights. Pull toward you for fog lights. If yours doesn't pull out for the fog lights, then one of two things happened.
1. Your truck didn't have factory fog lights and they were added. I assume if this is the case they would have put a switch for them somewhere.
2. Your truck came with factory fog lights, and the headlight switch was replaced with the wrong one for a truck that doesn't have fog lights.
i think mine were factory cuz i looked behind them and they looked wired up. so now i need to get some HIDS for those lol thanks ill let u know in a hour if my **** pulls
