UPFITTER Switch wiring

does anyone know if all 250/350 SD have the upfitter switch wiring and the panel is an option? I see some with the panel for $125 and some without that option. I would think all are wired the same rather than make a wiring bundle for each option.

i believe its a seperate switch, harness and relay panel for the upfitter

For '05 and up, I believe you can buy a kit, which is the switches, relays and wiring, and they just plug in. Talk to your dealer.

For '05 and later trucks, the Central Junction Block has a plug on the back side to connect the upfitters. No other wiring is present unless you purchased that option. It is easy to add the wiring, switches, and relays. I recorded the process when I added them to my '06. Here is a link to the page:

It will be a little different for your '09, but not much.

+1...yep, just as described above. Just did this install on my 08' F-250. The install is a bit easier on the 08 + trucks as you don't have to pull the fuse box to hook up the relay wiring harness. the 08 + have a plug easily gotten to above the accelerator high up next to the firewall. My parts came as two pieces. The dash mount switch assembly (1), and the relay panel with all the wiring attached (2). Easy install. Thanks to everyone who has done it before and posted here on FTE.
