1977 fuel system electrical help

I have a 1977 f150 4x4 with a 400 and a dual tank system. I need a wiring diagram for the fuel sytems electrical circuits. My fuel gauge isnt working and it appears previous owners have tapped into the the harness by the main tanks fuel sending unit??? I would like to do the proper fix. Can any one help???

Your truck would have a switch between the gauge and the sender and would also have two senders. But every thing else should be the same.
