Another fuel gauge problem
I have a 85 F 150 with a 5.8 L ( 351W i think?) it has the mechanical fuel pump and the three port selector valve without the fuel return lines. The problem is that the fuel guage stays on empty weather the selector switch is flipped to the front or rear tank. It is hard for me to believe that both sending units are bad, the truck runs fine, i just do not have a fuel reading? I pulled the connector at the sending unit on the front tank and grounded it out and the gauge pegged to full, any suggestions?
