i need to identify this motor before it goes to the machine shop....the number by the oil cooler is 74JU2U662144..attached is a pic
I know its a 7.3 forged rod motor but do i want it in my 03
Seems like it will work fine. It's an e99 block but I presume you are planning on re-using your original HPOP, plenums, spider, turbo, pedestal etc...
As far as I know all that stuff will bolt onto this block.
See attached.
the attachments/accessorys i am aware of, i just wanted to know (thanks shake and bake).... not to sure when and if any of the internals changed..which would be best, build my 03 and install forged rods or do the e99 and save mine... i am researching a 500hp build....thanks for your input
