bought some new slicks
first one is a 66 short box with a 240 and 3 on the tree bare bones the second is a 65 long box with a 390 3 speed overdrive which I believe is a ranger because it has carpet and the cover over the fuel tank but it has an original 65 bench seat the truck also had a f81 code so some one over the years must have switched the buckets out like the motor was

Thanks thats what I thought but I thought maybe I was mistaken because of it means something else in 66. Now Im not sure what to do because I was basically buying the truck for the motor and transmission to put in the short box. I will feel bad parting it out especially scince its a running and driving truck but I have never been a big fan of long boxs and its pretty rusty

In 1966 T, U, V & 1T were only ranger codes. "F" is black
"E" is Red
Edit Add: I saw 66 and jumped the gun. In 1965 F could be black bench or RED buckets.
