Box advice

I am trying to round up the parts I need to get started on this 1964 F100 for my pops and I am running into a snag.
I need a box. It is a shortbox frame, and I have found 2 in the area. One I cant get the owner of the place on the phone, and it looks like the right year. Second one is off of a 1962 and looks different, but I know I can get it for a very good price. It is sitting in my buddies salvage yard. As long as the body lines line up, I dont care about the other looks.
BTW, these are fleet sides. I would put a flareside on, but havent found one of them yet, and worst case scenario if I cant find a box, I will make a flareside. I really dont want have to make a box as that will take me a TON of time, but I want to get this truck nice for pops.
Any ideas? As this build progresses, I will have WAY more questions, so please bear with me.
Thank you

The boxes were the same from 61-64 (or at least i thought). These boxes are the same as the ones from 57-60. In 65 the boxes changed (at least on 2wds) to one that actually looks like it belongs on the truck. Are you sure yours doesn't have a 65 or 66 box on it instead of the earlier one, that would explain why the 62 box looks different than yours. Maybe yours is a really late 64 that got the 65 box or maybe someone swapped it later on. Maybe post a picture of what style of box you are looking for?

I'm sorry, I should have clarified. The raggedy bed I am looking at has the flare that starts right in front of the wheel well opening over the top of the opening, and goes straight to the back of the truck. This is the style box that I have seen on these style trucks.
The other box looks more like a work truck box. The tailgate is skinny and flat, no more than 1" wide.
The last box looks like the box on my 62 F250. Just shorter.
Thank you

And when I bought the truck, it came with no bed for the 64 shortbox.

Styleside Beds.

1961/63 F100/250 2WD Uni. The beds are welded to the cab.

1957/60 Styleside Beds were also installed on the following: 1961/65 F100/250 4WD / 1961/66 F350 (9' Express Bed) / 1962/63 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F250 4WD.

1957/60 Styleside Beds are called the "wrong beds" by enthusiasts, because the bed lines do not match the cab lines on the above 1961/66's.

THE 1957/60 Styleside tailgate (B7C-9940700-A) is 52 1/2" long.

Has the flare that starts right in front of the wheel opening, then extends over the top of the opening...straight towards the rear.
Styleside Beds introduced in 1964 / Applications: 1964/66 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F100 4WD.

The tailgate (C4TZ-9940700A) is: 66 7/8" long x 21 1/4" high // NOTE: 1967/72 F100/350 Styleside tailgate (C7TZ-9940700A) will fit these specific 1964/66's

All the mounting hardware is the same, but it has a slightly different appearance. There is a raised ovate scallop line that surrounds the FORD letters which are smaller than 1964/66 FORD letters.
