Rebuild a c6
I'm getting ready to pull & rebuild the 351w in my 1980 f100, its backed by a c6 trans. Ive never messed with the innards of a transmission before, but i was wondering if its possible to rebuild one in your backyard garage?
I searched for threads on this but came up with nothing. thanks in adavance for any suggestions.

Yes, it's possible. That is one of the easier ones to rebuild. Get a good manual from either ATSG Home Page or Service Manuals, Owner Manuals, Wiring Diagrams, Service Bulletins - Helm Incorporated.
