I'm about to start bolting stuff back on after doing the STC fitting and oil cooler. Should I be thinking about studs too as long as I have it apart? Would I save much time? I'm not pulling heavy or trying to get huge power so I'm not real worried about the studs right now. It doesn't seem like I'd be saving much time by doing the studs now, but thought I'd ask. I'd be doing them cab on. I'd rather not do the studs now, but if I'm missing something and I'd save a bunch of time I'll think about it.
I think the general concesus is that you should do studs whether you already have it apart or not. But if you already have it apart and have the spare change the throw in it, definitely. They're worth their weight in gold for resale also because I'm trying to sell my truck now and the only way anybody will consider a 6.0 is if it has had studs done. Thanks a lot Ford!
YES - YES - Yes! Think this way....how would you feel if after you got done with what you are now doing....put it all back together and in 5k miles you find coolant splattered all over under the hood????
Andey's comment on resale is a very valid point!!!

That is if you can even get them to stay on the phone once they find out it's a 6.0. Most of my calls go like this:
Potential Buyer: "Yes I'm calling about the 03 F250 you have for sale. Now does that have the 7.3 in it?"
Me: "No, it's the 6.0. But..."
Potential Buyer: *Click!!* (that's the sound of them hanging up very abruptly)
I think the problem with cell phones is you can't slam them, because i'm sure if you could, I would hear more of a slamming noise rather than just silence or a click.
I don't think it's necessarily imperative to do it right now, but I would. In fact, I just did since I had it down to do a bad HPOP. My wallet is a bit lighter and it took awhile to get done, but the peace of mind it gives is priceless. It's also nice being able to crank up the power.
