82 F150 stalling
My 82 F150, 300 cu.in. 6 cyl. will die suddenly while driving at hwy. speeds but I can restart the motor immediatly and it runs fine. It does this about once aweek more or less. without giving any hint when it will strike! Any ideas?

I am having a similar problem after dealing with the air cleaner being connected incorrectly. Now the engine will start but will not maintain. It ran fine on Tuesday for about 73 miles, then the stalling and idle failure started. Is the Engine Control Assembly or EEC-IV , Electronic Engine Control likely the cause in this case as well?
