Hard start when engines hot
Yours only has this starting problem once or twice a week?? Mine does it every day with out fail. After the first start of the day which is usually fine every other start up does this. It can sit for 15 min or several hours and still not start easily. If it sits for about 5 min or less there usually isn't a problem. I just thought this might be relelvant and help us figure out what is actually going on.

In addition to High Pressure Fuel Pump (on frame rail), my F250 has Primer Pumps in each of the two tanks. A failing Primer Pump can cause hard starts. Have fuel flow test done....not fuel pressure, although that info. can tell you other things. I'm not sure what the flow rate should be for your truck, but a good mechanic will tell you that.
