Draining Battery

Greeting to everyone... I hope someone can help me here. I have an 84 F150 6 cyl. Every 3/4 days my battery is dead, leaving me stranded. I recently bought and installed a new battery and solenoid. I had the voltage regulator checked <ok>. While I installed the new parts I noticed that the connector to the voltage regulator looked fried on one side. After investigating more, I notice that the wires coming from the voltage regulator, battery and starter all nicely intersect in a casing.

So to further explain this part I don't have a name for... connections that go to the solenoid, starter and voltage regulator all come together in a plastic casing. Well, I took that apart and looked inside and it looked fried also. What is the name of this part.

In addition, I have also had the alternator checked and it is doing its job, but the battery continues to get drained after about 3/4 days. This is my main transportation so, I hope to find some answers here and get "old blue" back running again without interuptions or leaving to walk home. Also, sections of the fuse box are fried too, I hope this truck is not gonna catch on fire! When the truck runs it run GREAT.

The truck has no AC, radio or other electrical luxurys so only the basic electrical stuff is on the truck. The truck did have heat but, it failed about the same time all this mayhem started. thanks in advance for you responses.
