Check engine light
2001 exploer sport, need to reset and clear check engine light I know the problem a small pinhole in exhaust that opens up and i fill it in How do i reset check engine light vs paying $20

Since you did not reveal the offending code, it indicates you do not have access to a scanner nor a code reader....
If you have made the correct repair the CEL will extinguish after a set number of drive cycles.
Pulling the negative battery cable will reset the PCM to factory defaults, CEL OFF, drive monitors OFF.... Philip
