Y-Block upper end oiling question

On my 292 Y-Block I have an “upper end oil kit”, the style that uses the hollow stud. This application I had to drill a corresponding hole in the top of the rocker shaft tube. Oilers are mounted on opposite end of the rocker tube from the factory “oil outlet” tube. Therefore on #5, left front and #4, back right. Well, one of the studs broke (I don’t want to get into how, I am sure you know what I mean!!!). Luckily I had a back-up kit, BUT, this one is the style kit that replaces the factory tubes. Therefore now mounted on the opposite ends of the rocker shaft from where my holes are now drilled. My question is, I will now have a ¼” hole on the opposite end of the rocker tube from where my new oiler kit will mount. Will this hole now cause any problems?? Is there any vacuum action that assists the oil in traveling through this tube?? Should I plug it up or will it assist in even more oil action?? Sorry for the background but I thought it pertinent to my question.. Thanks in advance.

I would think you would need to plug it, or you going to end up with oil pressure loss and excessive oil in the head..if I understand your question correctly
