Tranny problem
In the am when I put the truck in drive it doesn't go, rev and nothing! In a sec it will finally move. Fluid is good, tranny never has been hotter than 180. Now in combination w this in the am, sometimes even after driving all day if the truck sits for a couple hrs it does the same. Now and added symptom, I'll go to stop and the motor will lug down and die. If I go to 'n' and rev it's fine. All this started since I was pulling a trailer in the sand at Pismo and got stuck.
I was in drive and the trailer was a plow. Is this a failed torque converter? Not working at first then not unlocking when stoping the truck. I have ae now but not sure what to look at?

I called John woods, when it was just a problem w no drive at first. He said Change the fluid and filter, check for anything in the pan. The. Call him and if needed he will send a crate to send the tranny back. I think there is only 8,000 miles on towmaster trans and billet triple disk tc.
