tires and wheels
the p.o. has the wrong rims on this truck, 1968 f250 2wd. the back space is 6" so tires rub every where. i can't find a tire/wheel fitment guide that covers the truck. anybody know what i need? i am thinking 17x8 with 4.5" back space and a 235/80/17 tire for a 31" o.a.d. tnx, m.

i have three 225/75 17 tires that are good enough to keep and the wheels are 8 on 6.5 but the backspace is too deep. so if i get 17x8 8 on 6.5 i only have to buy one tire to change right now. i only paid $1k for the truck i don't want to spend more than that for tires and wheels right now.
