Shift Cable
Anyone ever changed the shifter cable on their f-150, apparently I broke mine while disassembling my dash to replace my heater core.

Are you talking about the one to your tranny? I melted mine and had to replace it. It's not too bad of a job, just awkward.

Yes, the braided metal cable encased in plastic connects near the end of the steering column, goes through the floor near the gas pedal and to the transmission.
