Question Whits end...HELP PLEASE

97 F350 crew cab 4x4 7.3

Took stock 16" tires and wheels off, replaced with used 16.5 aluminum wheels with 35 x12.50 BFG's. Immediately had what seemed like a brake pulsating issue or so i thought. Tore it down and front brakes were not bad but could use a change so i thought thats weird or coincidental. Turned rotors, new pads, changed one caliper (it was sticky acting). Turned drums, new shoes in rear (changed a leaky cyclinder) and put her all back together. Notta, Bang, Zilch, no change, same problem . It acts just like a set of warped up rotors when braking so what is it? Its driving me MAD! Thanks in advance!

Did you try putting your stock wheels back on?

The stock wheels are hub centric. The 16.5s are probably not hub centric, so they may not be centered properly.

Welcome to FTE.

I've moved your thread to the correct forum for your model of truck.

Oops, disregard what I said about the hub centric wheels. I didn't notice it's a 97.

However, it's also possible that one of the wheels is bent or one of the tires is bad.

This would be my thought as well..

I would put the original wheels and tires back on it and see if the problem goes away... I'm guessing one of the tires has a belt damaged/shifted.
