hi im new here
just thought i would see what you think about putting a 429 in my 1966 f100 good or bad idea and if anybody else has tried.

Welcome to FTE! Yes, many have installed the 429/460 in older Twin I Beam trucks. In fact Ford did it as well in the early 70's. Parts are available in junk yards and if you have the part numbers at your local Ford dealer. Post back with details if you decide to do this. There is a fellow here called Air Harley, currently involved in a 460 swap. Do a search for him. Another guy Lap top geek, is driving a early 70's with a 460. So this has been done and info is available.
